Nutritional characteristics
Almost fat-free and high in protein. It provides a significant amount of vitamins B12, some B3 and B6, as well as phosphorus.

20cm.

Capture area
Northeast Atlantic (FAO Area 27) and Mediterranean Sea (FAO Area 37).

Capture method
Trawls and gillnets, hooks and hook-and-line gear.
