Low-fat fish, but rich in omega-3 fatty acids. High in protein, vitamins B3, B12 and D, and phosphorus.

15 cm.

North-East Atlantic (FAO Area 27), Mediterranean Sea (FAO Area 37).

Capture method
Encircling, trawling and gillnets.
