The Omnifish has as activity the marketing of fresh fish. It is present in the fishing ports at a national level and does international procurement.
It receives fresh wild and farmed fish from various sources, respecting the sustainability of species and strict quality control.
After selecting the fish, it prepares and/or transforms it so as to always maintain maximum freshness.
It ensures fast processes, whether in preparation, processing, packaging or distribution.

Omnifish is designing new facilities in order to respond to the strong growth and continue to invest in a sector of important development for the country.
Following our activity since 2009, this investment allows us to follow market trends and offer new and better solutions to our customers.

2009
Omnifish is born in Peniche
Omnifish is a Portuguese company dedicated to the trade and distribution of fresh fish.
We started our activity in 2009, with facilities in Peniche, one of the main fishing ports in Portugal.
2013
National Distribution
Start of supplies to the main distribution chains.
Reinforcement at a national level, with presence in several fishing ports.
Increase in volumes leads us to start importing fresh fish.
First exports and start of supply to the Horeca channel.
Warehouse expansion.
2021
We count on 100 collaborators
We currently have 100 employees in the different operations.
By 2021 we have consolidated our position as a reference Player in the Portuguese Market.
Diversification of the offer, with new prepared/processed products, and new packaging solutions.
Acquisition of several mechanical equipment.
Several agreements in the Horeca Channel, namely with restaurant chains.
Procurement and purchasing capacity directly from the sources, in order to guarantee control of the entire chain.
2022
Opening of a
processing plant
Beginning of the construction of a new and modern fish processing unit.
Located in the North road, in Peniche, it will receive all the fresh fish from several national ports and international origins.
It will have areas for fish preparation/washing, and a dedicated area for fish processing lines.
Refresh of the institutional image of Omnifish SA in the fleet and website.
Fleet with 10 light and 3 heavy vehicles.
